Raghav Juyal on his return to Dance Deewane; says, I need more funds to help more people
Raghav Juyal, who took a break from reality shows is back on the sets of Dance Deewane. Talking about the main reason behind him taking a break and now returning back to the show, in an interview with BT he said, “As soon as restrictions were announced in Maharashtra, I moved to my hometown, Pauri, in Uttarakhand. Then I got infected with COVID-19 and so I had to quarantine at home for two weeks. During this period, while I was at home, I realized that the area around my village was deeply affected and the health centers were not well-equipped. They did not have enough medicines and I felt that I should do something to support them so that people do not have to travel to cities and get treated. So after I recovered from COVID-19, I started helping people in the rural areas in Uttarakhand and supplying essential materials to health centers.”He further added, “I took a break for a few weeks from the show because I was not in a state of mind to dance and sing because I felt my state needed me and I should do something to help people during the pandemic. But, I will resume shooting for the show next month.”TV couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbhachiyaa fill in for him while Raghav was on a break for almost one-and-a-half months.Talking about his decision to return to the show, Raghav said, “I need more funds to help more people. That’s one of the main reasons. The situation is getting better in Uttarakhand. I have a team that’s working on the ground to help people. It’s a very able and good team. Woh wahaan par apna kaam kar rahi hai aur main yahaan apna kaam kar raha hoon. Besides, we are making the most of the technology to reach out to each other. We are preparing to fight the third wave in a better way.”Raghav also shared a video of his comeback on his Instagram account. He says, “It was amazing to be back on the set. Everyone was so happy. I had a great time shooting for the show in Daman. It was a very different environment.” Namaste, I am a Blogger and a Voice Artist.
